Abstract: 

The article follows range of publications about landscape planning which were started in UGJ by German scientists since 2009. Interdisciplinary status of this instrument allows to consider it’s usefulness for achievement different objectives due to the Society and Nature interaction and sustainable development principles. Preconditions of landscape planning implementation in Ukraine are considered. Possibilities of national laws realization are analyzed. Potential of application and it’s goals are disclosed on a case of project “Landscape planning in Ukraine” stages, in the framework of which research in Cherkasy region has been developing since 2010.
