Abstract:

Assessment of anthropogenic landscapes transformation is reviewed as a necessary integral part of the cross border Ukrainian and Belorussian Polessia region geo-ecological research. A set of evaluative factors calculated based on data of the land use patterns, degree of the lithogenic landscapes basis conversion and levels of their radioactive contamination has been offered. Evaluation of the differences in intra-regional anthropogenic landscapes transformation within the researched area has been presented. The results of such comprehensive evaluation have been used to justify the optimization of the natural resources use in the region.

Key words:
landscape, anthropogenic landscapes transformation, evaluative factors
