I. Savchuk. METHODOLOGICAL APPROCHES AND PRINCIPALS OF RESEARCH OF RRODUCTIVE, INFORMATION AND FINANCIAL POTENTIALS OF A REGION OF UKRAINE

The modern approaches to definition of productive, information and finance potentials of a region are analysed and the author’s definitions of these conceptions are given. The methodology of research of productive, information and finance potentials of a region under current conditions of Ukraine is grounded. The economic-geographical analysis of each of the potentials is carried out for administrative-territorial units of Kyiv oblast on the basis of statistical data. The author’s typification made it possible to define two centers (Kyiv and Bila Tserkva) and two peripheries as well as regions with transition values of productive, information and finance potentials.
