Abstract: 

The main features of functioning and spatial organization of the prospective local econetworks within cities are considered by the example of three the largest cities of Zaporizhya oblast – Zaporizhya, Melitopol and Berdyansk. Urban econetwork is a spatial structural formation that consists mainly of quasi-natural terrestrial and terrestrial-aquatic landscape complexes (ecocores and ecocorridors). Its main task is nature protection within urban landscapes, particularly conservation of animal populations in these landscapes. In the context of the urban econetworks substantiation some top-priority problems are considered and ways of their solution are proposed.
