Abstract: 

The possible negative environmental and social consequences for Ukraine and its regions as a result of its integration into the global economy are analyzed. The main directions of prevention and elimination of such consequences are determined; the are the principle of protection of national interests of the country; ensuring the proper level of national security, as well as competitiveness of the national economy; optimization of use of natural resource potential of the country; realization of the export potential of Ukraine on the world markets of agricultural products; development and adoption at the state level of “National Strategy of Sustainable Development”. The most appropriate directions and parameters of outgoing of Ukraine on the world and regional goods and services markets in the context of practical transition to the sustainable development are grounded.
