Abstract: 

The research is carried out by the example of Polissian landscapes of the transborder region of Ukraine and Belarus. The methodological basis of the research is the conception of efficient environmental management. The principal research approaches are system, ecology-landscape science, landscape science-geochemical ones as well as landscape planning approach as an integral approach for applied treatments concerning optimization of the environmental management within the transborder region.It is defined the efficient complex of methods for research of Polissian landscapes and their changes under man-made influence and for substantiation of the optimum landscape planning organization of the transborder region.
