Abstract: 

The estimation of environmental risks (water erosion, reduced soil fertility, pollution of surface waters), arising in the process of the use of land resources in the region of the Ukrainian Carpathians and adjacent areas is given. The system of measures ensuring the elimination (minimizing) of the emergence and development of environmental risks and the formation of natural network of ecological safety of land resources is grounded.
