УкраїнськаM.M. Vyshnya. ATLAS INFORMATION SYSTEM: CONTENTS, CONDITION OF INTRODUCTION, DIRECTIONS OF DEVELOPMENT
The aim of the paper is the research of modern opportunities of geoinformation mapping and representation of its results in the Atlas information systems (AIS). It’s presented definition, classification, requirements and possibilities of AIS. Foreign AIS of risk of emergency situations, homelessness, public health and conservation are analysed. AIS created by the Ukrainian scientists are considered. Directions of further development of AIS in Ukraine are outlined.
