Zelenska, L. I. Thinking Together: On the Place of Geography in Scientific and Educational Discourses

This publication proposes an information-logical model of the components of unified geography (science, formal, non-formal, and informal education). It also describes an information-logical model of how new ideas and thoughts may emerge through interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary trends in the development of geographical science. The article examines the challenge of implementing a competency-based approach in geography education and the development of pedagogical competence as a form of personal capital for future geographers.
